The president made a statement, he’s pulling out of the Paris climate agreement because he represents Pittsburgh not Paris. An interesting point of view. Its your choice, you can laugh or cry at how pathetic and ignorant that comment is. Pittsburgh as well as the rest of the country has twice as many solar jobs as it does coal jobs. He also mentioned he is capable of renegotiating a better deal. As we all know he fancies him self a deal maker. The problem is 193 countries are on board. As well as the fact that our current clean energy policies make the Paris agreement targets achievable here in the U.S. The clean energy revolution started by President Obama, has made things like LED lightbulbs, manufactured in large numbers. Making them cheaper and better over the past 8 years. So my guess is Donald Trumps statement should have been he was elected to represent Putin not Pittsburgh. Why do i say that. Most of us are in agreement in some way, shape or form President Trump is indebted to Russian banks. He jumped into being elected with an aggressive agenda to ease sanctions on Russia. That didn’t pan out. So now he’s trying to deliver on his commitment to Putin by causing friction with our European allies. President Trump also forgot to mention the part of the speech that confirmed our 100% commitment to Article 5 of the NATO agreement. “Article 5 provides that if a NATO ally is the victim of an armed attack, each and every member of the Alliance will consider this act of violence as an armed attack against all members and will actions it deems necessary to assist the ally attacked” Even the presidents staff didn’t know he was going to leave that part of the speech out. I can’t say for sure, but i can say its something to be concerned and suspicious about.
